San Francisco’s HappyRobot has closed a $150 million Series C at a $1.2 billion valuation. Prysm Capital led the round with Eurazeo as co-lead.
Existing backers including a16z, Base10 and Y Combinator joined the round, alongside Koch Disruptive Technologies, Orange, T.Capital, Bankinter, Endeavor Catalyst, Kfund and Wave-X. The raise brings HappyRobot’s total funding to around $200 million, including the $44 million Series B it closed in September.
The company builds AI agents for enterprise operations, deploying software “workers” that handle phone calls, emails and document workflows in logistics and other sectors. It says it serves more than 150 enterprise customers, including DHL Group, Kuehne + Nagel, Naturgy, Repsol and Uber, and has grown more than five times since its Series B.
The company’s footprint now spans eight offices in North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia, up from two a year ago. Its reach has moved well beyond freight into insurance, energy, telecom and airlines.
Co-founder and CEO Pablo Palafox said the company’s thesis is that enterprise superintelligence requires more than task-performing agents, and that its platform lets operations teams spin up new agents with plain-English prompts. The new capital will go toward expanding AI capabilities, enterprise integrations and the infrastructure needed to run agents at scale, plus hiring in engineering and go-to-market teams globally.
The round is one of the largest for the AI agent category this quarter, as investors pile into startups automating business-critical work.
