Breedr has raised €23M ($27M) in a Series B led by Partech’s impact fund, with Latitude, the growth-stage arm of seed investor LocalGlobe, and Outsiders Fund also participating. Total funding now stands at €39.9M ($46.6M).
The London-founded, Texas-headquartered company digitizes the beef supply chain, combining a livestock management app, a data-verified marketplace and an embedded cattle finance fund in one closed-loop system that tracks individual animals from birth to processing.
Wheal, who grew up on an Australian cattle farm, says the industry has no choice but to modernize: demand for beef is rising while the national herd sits at its smallest in 75 years, and squeezing more value from each animal cannot happen on paper.
Partech’s Arnaud Minvielle frames the investment as a climate play with a commercial engine: Breedr helps producers earn more while cutting emissions, and the firm collects a fee each time cattle change hands.
Breedr operates across the US, UK and Australia, and the new money will fund expansion as 2026 investment in agricultural digitization accelerates.
