UK ticketing platform Tickets for Good has raised £3.9M to fund international expansion and team growth, extending its mission of giving key workers access to live events.
The investment came from NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance, managed by Mercia Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, alongside Shaping Impact Group, Finance Yorkshire, Leansquare and private investors.
The business traces back to Sheffield, where Steve Rimmer and the late Neville Mosey built a service that lets NHS workers, teachers, charity staff and recipients of Cost of Living support join free and claim surplus event tickets for a small transaction fee. Venues gain an audience for otherwise empty seats, plus the extra revenue those attendees bring.
The company says it now has nearly 750,000 verified members globally and has distributed more than 1.25 million tickets. It operates in the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, after expanding into the US in 2023 through the Comcast SportsTech accelerator in St Louis. Robbie Williams serves as an ambassador alongside former Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and music entrepreneur Hans Brouwer.
Tickets for Good doubled its revenue in 2025 and is targeting five-fold growth over the next three years. Rimmer said the investment will help the company expand internationally, create about 10 new jobs in Sheffield and provide more people with access to live events, building on the belief that live events should be available to everyone.
