Amulya Vishwanath spent seven years leading product marketing for Nvidia’s robotics platforms before spinning out to found Techable VC. On TechCrunch’s Equity podcast she makes the case that robotics sits in what she calls a Lego era, where actuators, robotic hands, software and safety standards are all still being rebuilt. It is a direct pushback against the view that a single general foundation model will deliver the field’s ChatGPT moment, and she explains where she writes her first checks across robotics, materials science and life sciences.
