Félix, the Miami startup that lets Latino immigrants send money through WhatsApp, has closed a $200M Series C that pairs $87M in equity with a $113M credit facility. Andreessen Horowitz wrote the lead equity check. A roster of familiar fintech backers filled out the rest, with QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners and Endeavor Catalyst on the list. The credit line came from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund.

Co-founders Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García launched Félix in 2020 after watching traditional banks ignore the needs of newcomers to the US. The coverage map now takes in 11 Latin American countries, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras and Peru among them, and cumulative transaction volume has passed $8B. Revenue grew more than 2.5x over the past year.

Under the conversational interface sits blockchain rails. Félix settles transfers using USDC, sparing customers the job of managing crypto wallets. Backers argue that abstraction is the point: remittance users get stablecoin speed without becoming crypto users.

No post-money figure was offered; Félix said only that the value has about tripled since QED’s $75M Series B in 2025. Total capital raised now approaches $300M.

Next up is a broader financial bundle. Félix plans to layer lending, savings and AI-assisted services onto its existing transaction relationships, moving from a transfer tool toward a full banking alternative for the roughly six million people it serves.
