Chamelio’s bet on in-house legal teams draws a fresh $26M

Chamelio has closed a $26M Series A, five months after its seed round, and says annual recurring revenue quadrupled over that stretch. Entrée Capital led the round. Bright Pixel Capital joined as a new backer, while Work-Bench and Emerge Ventures both returned.

What the company sells is software for in-house legal departments. Its agents review terms, draft contracts, track obligations, run multi-step workflows and route incoming legal requests. Alex Zilberman, Gal Lellouche and Gil Banyas, a former general counsel, founded the business in 2024.

Hundreds of customers now use it, among them Socure, monday.com, Wiz, Wonderful.ai and AppsFlyer. Salesforce, Slack, NetSuite and procurement tools are among the systems it plugs into.

“The mistake in legal AI has been assuming the future simply looks like today’s lawyer with faster contractual fact-checking,” Zilberman said, arguing that agents earn their keep when they make decisions built on a company’s own contracts.

Plenty of tools generate or summarize documents. Winning a place in how a legal team actually operates, day in and day out, is the harder claim: routine work goes to the agents, with lawyers pulled back in wherever review is needed.

Product and legal engineering teams absorb part of the money, and so does the company’s own legal action model. Part of it also covers moving customers off older contract software.
