The CMA CGM Group, a global player in shipping, land, air, and logistics solutions, has announced the launch of the third edition of the CMA CGM Startup Awards at VivaTech. The international competition aims to identify the most innovative startups capable of addressing the Group’s major challenges.
This edition marks the participation of the CMA CGM Foundation in the awards, with two challenges dedicated to social innovation. Organized in partnership with BFM Business and La Tribune, the competition is part of Artificial Intelligence Marseille (AIM), which will take place on September 25, 2026, at the Orange Velodrome Stadium.
Entrepreneurs from around the world are invited to submit applications on the ZEBOX website until August 7, 2026. Winners will have the opportunity to collaborate with CMA CGM Group or its Foundation through a pilot project or funded proof of concept of up to 50,000 euros, along with one year of support from ZEBOX and privileged access to CMA CGM decision-makers.
The awards will recognize the most innovative solutions across six categories: Smart Transportation and AI-Augmented Operations, Future Assets and Infrastructure, Next-Generation Media, Augmented Talent, Humanitarian Logistics and Resilient Supply Chains, and Skills, Education and Employability for Tomorrow.
Sixty international startups, ten in each category, will be selected to participate in the final on September 25 at the Orange Velodrome Stadium. Finalists will pitch before a jury of CMA CGM Group Executive Committee members and industry experts. Winners from previous editions are already delivering projects with the Group, including warehouse optimization solutions tested with CEVA Logistics.
