Singapore-based quantum-safe cybersecurity company pQCee has raised US$3.9 million in a seed funding round co-led by SGInnovate and Lotus One Investment to accelerate global expansion and development of its post-quantum security products.

The round included participation from In Group Holdings, Wavemaker Partners, SUTD Ventures Holdings, and Apsara Investments. This marks pQCee’s second institutional funding round, following a US$2.8 million raise in 2022.

pQCee offers a portfolio of crypto-agile security technologies, including its SafeQuard encryption platform and QKDLite key management middleware. The company has partnerships with Thales, Microsoft, PQShield, Feitian, Netrust and SendQuick.

The new capital will be used to expand pQCee’s team in Singapore and accelerate entry into the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
