Enveda has closed a $311M Series E to move three drug candidates into later trials and scale the automated laboratory behind its discovery engine.
Catalio Capital Management led, joined by Durable Capital Partners, ICONIQ, Lightspeed, Surveyor Capital, accounts advised by T. Rowe Price, Digitalis Ventures, a sovereign wealth fund, Alderline Group, Baillie Gifford, Premji Invest, FPV Ventures, True Ventures, Kinnevik, Dimension, Lifeforce Capital and Lux Capital. Total funding now exceeds $845M.
The Boulder, Colorado company built PRISM, a foundation model trained on the chemistry of living organisms. It predicts molecular structures from mass spectrometry data, then tests naturally occurring compounds to develop oral medicines for inflammatory and metabolic conditions.
The proceeds fund later-stage work on ENV-294 and ENV-308 plus additional indications, and push ENV-6946 through mid-phase trials. Enveda also plans to bring more candidates into the clinic and expand the automated lab feeding the model, part of a wider push to industrialise AI-driven discovery rather than treat it as a screening shortcut.
Founder and chief executive Viswa Colluru has framed the company’s edge around reading biology’s existing chemical output instead of inventing molecules from scratch, a route that has drawn both crossover funds and strategic investors.
