NavVis, which builds digital twins of factories and buildings, has closed a €73.7M ($85M) Series D. The Munich company will use the money to expand its spatial data engine and push its AI roadmap forward.

The Jordan Company, a US private equity firm, led the round. Existing investors Yttrium, KOZO KEIKAKU ENGINEERING and Cipio Partners also joined.

The company emerged from the Technical University of Munich in 2013. Its wearable and handheld laser scanners capture survey-grade reality data, and its IVION cloud platform converts that data into always-current digital twins for industrial teams.

NavVis says over a billion square meters of plants, construction sites and buildings were added to its platform in 2025, and more than 150,000 users rely on its systems to cut downtime on automotive lines, speed data center construction and shorten refinery maintenance. BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, ExxonMobil, BASF, Henkel, Bosch, KION and Siemens number among its 1,500-plus customers across 50 countries.

Co-founder and CTO Georg Schroth said the company’s goal is to replace the untrustworthy drawings that planning has long depended on, making captured reality the system of record that teams, tools and AI systems build on.

CEO Felix Reinshagen said the round funds greater scalability and intelligence, plus a bigger push into the US, its fastest-growing market.
