European robotics consolidation keeps accelerating, and Neura Robotics is buying its way onto the factory floor.

The German company is taking over Bosch Rexroth’s Active Shuttle autonomous transport system, with the handover set for October 1. Neura Mobile Robots will own the line’s hardware, software and service work.

Active Shuttle is an established workhorse of industrial intralogistics: it moves small load carriers, restocks assembly workstations, and navigates around people using laser scanners and 3D obstacle detection for automated pickup and dropoff.

For founder and CEO David Reger, the deal is about leverage. “Europe has deep robotics and industrial know-how,” he wrote on LinkedIn, and the purchase delivers an installed base of manufacturing customers plus a product line Neura did not have to build.

The shuttle business slots into Neura’s push for a unified physical AI ecosystem, tying its humanoid and collaborative robots into industrial workflows. Financial terms went undisclosed.
