Debt collection still runs on manual processes at most Indian lenders, and Rezolv is betting AI can fix that. The startup has banked $12.5M in a Series A led by Norwest.
Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India joined the round alongside existing backer 3one4 Capital. Rezolv was founded in 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, the pair behind lending platform Kissht.
Its platform combines collections software with AI tools built for lending and recovery, and the company says more than 22 institutions use it, including AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, Bajaj Auto Credit and Five-Star Business Finance.
Jindal argues AI adoption is no longer the real challenge; the hard part is applying it to collections, where Rezolv targets measurable gains in recovery rates, cost, productivity and workforce optimisation.
Rivals Credgenics and Nucleus Software are chasing the same opportunity as Indian financial institutions push harder on recovery technology.
