Mumbai women’s wellness brand Nua has raised $50M in a Series C led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, one of the largest rounds yet in India’s femcare sector.

Existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also joined. The round combines primary capital with a secondary component that gives partial exits to Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and earlier angel investors. Nua has now raised roughly $71.5M in total, according to Entrackr.

Ravi Ramachandran launched the company in 2017 with a digital-first, omnichannel model. Its range spans period care, maternity care and everyday intimate wellness, and the brand says it now reaches over 3 million women and girls monthly across products and digital tools such as the Nua Period Tracker app and SecretKeeper chat.

The company claims its annualized revenue run rate jumped from Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore over the past 24 months while remaining profitable. Peak XV says Nua is now the second-largest online player in India’s women’s wellness category.

Fresh funds will go toward brand building, wider distribution and research and development across new products. The raise surpasses Pee Safe’s $32M round in January 2026, underscoring investor appetite for women’s health brands as the category shifts from offline staples such as Whisper and Stayfree toward specialized digital-first labels.
