London’s Metaview Labs has collected $60M in Series C funding to push AI deeper into hiring, arguing that recruiting is finally ready for the kind of leap coding assistants made.
Insight Partners took the lead, with GV, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Intrepid Growth Partners, Plural and Garuda Ventures each joining the round.
Metaview builds software that sits inside a recruiter’s daily workflow, turning interview transcripts and notes into structured feedback and summaries. The pitch is simple: recruiters lose hours to administration that has nothing to do with judging candidates, and that is exactly the work large language models handle well.
The company frames the moment as recruiting’s own coding-assistant shift, when AI tools moved from autocomplete to agents that carry out multi-step tasks. Recruiting, it argues, is the next function where agents can own the repetitive middle of the job.
Competition is crowded. Dozens of startups now sell AI interview notes, sourcing and screening tools, while established applicant tracking systems bundle similar features at no extra cost. Metaview’s bet is that depth and integration beat add-ons.
The round lands as investors favor vertical software that replaces labor rather than general-purpose assistants.
