Holo picks up €5M to hand small shops a marketing department

Market One Capital led a seed round for the Vilnius platform that drafts campaigns for businesses with no marketing staff.

A five-person marketing department is a luxury most small firms cannot afford. Holo thinks one can be assembled out of software, and it has raised €5M from investors willing to find out.

Market One Capital led the seed round, with Silicon Gardens, FirstPick, Leonis Capital, NGL, Tekton Ventures and several angels in the Vilnius company. The platform targets the smallest end of the market: businesses that need campaigns but cannot justify a marketing hire.

Describe the business, receive a plan

Owners connect their website. Holo reads the products, tone and brand signals off the page, then drafts a marketing plan that names channels, campaigns and priorities. Content follows: ad copy, social posts, emails and search material, arranged in a calendar that the owner can edit or approve before anything goes live.

Selected tasks can run without approval. Performance data then feeds back, so the system can recommend shifting budget toward better-performing ads or producing more content in formats that travelled.

The company combines third-party models with its own layer that holds a brand’s voice and a strategy engine, plus a creative system trained on performance data from a large volume of published material.

Crowded shelf, narrow buyer

Advertising tools for small businesses are abundant and mostly unloved. Canva covers design, Meta and Google cover distribution, and a long list of startups have pitched automation at the same buyer.

Holo’s difference is scope, not novelty: one entry point rather than five, priced for a company with no marketing staff. That is a packaging argument, though packaging has carried plenty of software businesses before.

Lithuania’s startup scene has grown quickly on the strength of local engineering talent and faster access to the rest of Europe, and a marketing platform needs no regulatory approvals to travel.
