Few AI infrastructure startups collect this much capital this quickly. Singapore’s Acrab has banked more than $480M in cumulative funding, most recently a $130M Series B led by existing backers Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, Vertex Growth, and new investors. The company emerged from stealth earlier this year.

The startup pairs custom-designed chips with edge AI models and orchestration software so autonomous agents can act in real time. Its Agent Box platform, powered by the GELIX 1 chip, just entered commercial rollout, with first revenue expected within the year from industrial deployments across several sectors.

Acrab says the fresh capital will scale production of its hardware, expand its technology ecosystem and speed development of its next-generation computing platform. The valuation was not disclosed.

The raise lands amid an Asian AI funding surge. Startups across Greater China, India and Southeast Asia disclosed at least $20.3B of capital in the first half of 2026, roughly 90% of it in Greater China. Acrab’s wager is that enterprises will pay for hardware-plus-software platforms tuned specifically to run autonomous workloads.
