The GLP-1 boom is consolidating the nutrition coaching market.

U.S. startup Berry Street and India’s Healthify, backed by Khosla Ventures, said Monday they have merged. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the founders of both companies will run the combined business as co-CEOs: Noah Kotlove from Berry Street and Tushar Vashisht from Healthify.

The combined company will market itself under the Berry Street name in the U.S. and keep the Healthify brand elsewhere, including India.

The deal rides a wave that JP Morgan projects will put more than 30 million Americans on GLP-1 drugs by 2030. Healthify brings an app with AI and human coaching, more than $150 million raised, and claims of over 45 million customers served. Berry Street contributes a network of more than 2,000 clinics offering insurance-covered GLP-1 care, plus backing from Northzone, Sofina, and FJ Labs in a $50 million raise last year.

Vashisht said the clinical backbone and coverage infrastructure Berry Street adds let Healthify bring its “dietitian in every pocket” mission to the U.S. at a scale it could not reach alone.
