Hackuity lands €16M as vulnerability backlogs overwhelm teams

Lyon-based Hackuity has raised €16M to automate how large enterprises prioritise and fix the software vulnerabilities they find.

Hackuity, which sells what it calls a Vulnerability Operations Center from its base in Lyon, has added €16M ($19M) to reach €32M raised in total.

Forgepoint Capital International led the round, with Bright Pixel, Bpifrance and Seventure Partners returning.

The company argues that finding vulnerabilities stopped being the hard part. Scanners and threat feeds now generate far more findings than security teams can act on, and single unpatched systems sit unresolved for months while alerts pile up. Hackuity consolidates those findings, scores them against business context and drives remediation tasks at machine speed.

“The volume of vulnerabilities would outpace any human’s capacity to respond,” said chief executive and co-founder Patrick Ragaru, pointing to the wave of AI-assisted attacks that is making the gap wider.

European security has been a busy venture corner this year. Paris agentic security operations platform Qevlar AI raised €25.8M, vulnerability discovery platform Escape €15.4M and credential security startup MokN €12.9M, while Italy’s Exein drew €234M for protecting physical AI. Forgepoint, which led Hackuity’s round, also backed Qevlar AI.

The new money funds product work and expansion across Europe and Asia.
