Rig Security left stealth with $12M in seed funding to answer a question most security teams cannot: is this request coming from a person, or from an AI agent borrowing that person’s credentials?
Agents rarely carry their own identity. They run through human sessions and service accounts, so traditional tools see activity that looks legitimate and attribute it to whoever owns the login. Rig builds identity protection software that spots the agent behind the account and blocks risky moves in real time.
CrowdStrike’s venture arm joined the round alongside several security founders, among them Wiz co-founder Ami Luttwak. Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners led the financing. Rig’s leadership carries the same lineage: chief executive Guy Kozliner previously worked under Luttwak at Wiz, and its technology chief was Axis Security’s first engineer.
The mismatch Rig targets is structural. Enterprises spent two decades assigning permissions to people, then handed agents the same keys and asked the same systems to tell them apart.
