As covered by Techpoint.Africa, the fifth edition of Pitch2Win—TechCircle’s premier African startup pitch competition—is set for July 30, 2025.

Fifteen promising startups from across the continent will compete for a $10,000 equity-free grant, pitching before a panel of over 30 international investors and leading African VCs.

Applications close on June 15, with selected startups receiving pitch coaching, mentorship, and exclusive investor meetings as part of the experience.

“Pitch2Win is more than just a competition—it’s a launchpad,” says Techcircle founder Oo Nwoye.

Launched in 2023, Pitch2Win has quickly earned a reputation as a launchpad for early-stage innovation in Africa. Past participants have collectively raised over $50 million, including Regtxa, last year’s winner, which secured $400,000 just one week after the event. Other alumni like Pharmarun, Tyms, and ZeroComplex have also leveraged the platform to land funding and partnerships.

“Pitch2Win is more than just a competition—it’s a launchpad,” says Techcircle founder Oo Nwoye. This year’s event brings together an impressive panel, including Japanese investors such as Hiro Mashita (SGverse) and Yuzuru Honda (FreakOut Holdings), alongside major Nigerian VCs.

With a proven track record and global investor spotlight, Pitch2Win 5 is shaping up to be a crucial moment for Africa’s next wave of high-growth startups.
