Microagi, a Munich-based robotics deployment company, raised $55 million in seed funding — the largest seed round in German history. Hummingbird led the round with participation from Northzone, LocalGlobe, Village Global, and Redalpine.
Founded by former Red Bull Racing Formula 1 engineer Bercan Kilic, the company develops Atlas, a hardware- and model-agnostic software platform that captures real-time production data to train and fine-tune factory robots. The company maintains partnerships with Nvidia and Unitree.
Microagi plans to use the capital to scale its data platform across global manufacturing conglomerates, fund a new research headquarters in Zurich, and accelerate technical hiring. The startup operates hubs spanning Munich, Zurich, London, and New York.
