Inforcer, a UK startup that helps managed service providers run Microsoft security and AI tools across their customer bases, has raised $50 million in Series C funding. Insight Partners led the round, with existing backers Meritech Capital and Dawn Capital participating.
The company’s platform gives MSPs a single control plane for managing Microsoft 365 security, compliance and AI services across many clients at once. Newer capabilities include Copilot Manager, shadow AI detection and threat detection and response, tools designed to help providers spot both human and AI-assisted attacks while governing how their customers deploy AI.
CEO Jamie Daum says the threat landscape has never been more dangerous for small and medium businesses, pointing to tools like Anthropic’s Claude Code that can turn almost anyone into a capable coder and the potential for AI to make hacking accessible to anyone. He argues MSPs need dedicated software to defend SMB customers against increasingly sophisticated, AI-enhanced threats.
The company says it has seen rapid global adoption over the past two years as demand grew from providers looking to consolidate their Microsoft security and AI management. The funding will support continued expansion of the platform and its security capabilities as Inforcer scales operations and its customer base.
The round is another sign of investor appetite for security software aimed at the channel, the network of managed service providers that serve most small businesses. It follows a $35 million Series B the company raised last year.
