Seattle’s longevity scene just got smaller. Viome Life Science has bought Circulate Health, the plasma exchange startup, in a transaction both sides peg at $15M to $50M.

The combination pairs Viome’s diagnostics and wellness supplements with Circulate’s blood-cleaning service. Circulate co-founder Brad Younggren, who led the startup through stealth and its January 2024 launch, becomes president of the new clinical group Viome Pro.

The merged company counts 115 full-time employees plus 10 consultants. Circulate had raised $14M before the deal; Viome, founded about a decade ago, has taken in roughly $250M from investors.

Circulate’s clinics numbered 40 before the deal, concentrated in the US with outposts in the UK and the Bahamas. Marrying that footprint with Viome’s partner network could put the combined business within reach of 400 locations.

The science behind both microbiome testing and plasma exchange draws skepticism from parts of the medical community. Circulate’s own 2025 study in Aging Cell suggested repeated treatments reduced biological age, while a 2026 paper linked its protocols to lower microplastics in the blood. Viome CEO Naveen Jain leads the combined company.
