Indian freight marketplace TrucksUp has raised $8.2M from institutional investors and family offices, with co-founders Sarthak Shah Elwadhi and Aviraj Singh Chadha also increasing their ownership.

The company runs an AI-powered digital marketplace for road freight, connecting truck owners, fleet operators and drivers with businesses that need transportation. The funding will strengthen its technology stack and expand fleet-focused solutions, TrucksUp said.

Founded in 2022, TrucksUp operates in one of India’s most fragmented logistics markets, where most trucking capacity sits with small operators who historically lacked direct access to shippers and predictable payments. The platform digitizes load matching, pricing and execution, the same wedge that has built large Indian logistics platforms in recent years.

The round adds to a busy stretch for Indian supply chain startups, with investors backing digitization of trucking, warehousing and last-mile delivery.
