SoftBank-backed surgical robotics company Noah Medical is planning a Hong Kong IPO that could raise about $100M, according to Tech in Asia.

The US-based firm, known for its Galaxy system for robotic bronchoscopy, is eyeing the listing to fund expansion into mainland China, where demand for minimally invasive diagnostics is climbing.

A Hong Kong float would give Noah Medical access to Asian capital markets as it competes with larger rivals in surgical robotics. The company counts SoftBank among its backers and has focused on making lung cancer diagnosis procedures more accessible and precise.

Medical robotics listings have picked up across Asia this year, with several firms choosing Hong Kong as a base to tap both mainland healthcare demand and regional investor liquidity.
