Building a website is the easy part now. Finding customers is the business Indian startup Runable wants to own, and it has $21M in new backing to chase it.

Two firms split the lead on the Series A: Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, joined by existing backers Together Fund and Array VC. Kumar says the all-equity, primary raise left the startup at a $65M post-money mark.

Founded in 2025, the Bengaluru company runs a 15-person team building AI agents designed to hunt down customers, run ad campaigns and draft presentations for small businesses. That puts Runable in a crowded field that includes AI giants like Anthropic and OpenAI, plus coding platforms such as Cursor, Lovable and Replit. Its bet is that the next bottleneck for founders is not shipping software but growing revenue from it.

The pitch targets the long tail of small companies that lack marketing teams and cannot afford the agencies bigger rivals use. Runable’s agents automate the outreach, campaign management and sales-prep work those businesses would otherwise skip entirely.

India’s startup ecosystem is watching closely: a growing wave of AI-agent companies are emerging from the country’s developer talent pool, and Runable’s traction will test how far agents can carry small-business growth.
