Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Plazza has raised $15 million in a Series A round co-led by Accel, Elevation Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners.

Founded in 2024 by Aman Priyadarshi, Plazza is building a technology-led pharmacy retail and rapid medicine delivery platform. India’s pharmacy market, estimated at over $30 billion, is dominated by independent chemists that typically stock only 5,000 products out of more than 100,000 available. Patients often visit multiple pharmacies to fill a single prescription.

Plazza combines neighborhood pharmacies with AI-based inventory planning that predicts local demand and recommends which medicines each store should stock. Each outlet carries more than 40,000 products, enabling prescription fulfillment rates above 95 percent compared with the industry average of 50 to 60 percent. Medicines are delivered within 15 to 30 minutes.

The startup has grown its gross merchandise value nearly 27-fold between June 2025 and March 2026. The fresh capital will be used to expand the pharmacy network into new geographies and strengthen the AI platform.
