Manycore Tech is betting that text alone should be enough to build a 3D scene. Its Lux3D generator, opened to developers this week, produces 3D assets from text or images, with a Turbo Mode that delivers models in about 20 seconds.

Developers can now plug Lux3D into their pipelines for e-commerce, industrial design, games, XR and simulation work, with batch generation handled through an API Manycore calls Harness Mode. The company is also testing a companion product that fuses Lux3D with its SpatialGen model to produce interactive 3D environments.

The launch comes as demand for AI-generated 3D content grows across gaming and online retail. Manycore said revenue from its newer AI applications and products rose 177% year over year in the first half, while adjusted net profit jumped 211% to RMB55.42M.

Lux3D positions Manycore in a crowded field of Chinese startups racing to build world models, AI systems that can simulate and generate physical environments.
