Lovable, the Swedish startup that lets users build software applications by describing them in plain text, is in advanced talks to raise $300 million at a $13.2 billion valuation. The round would be led by Menlo Ventures, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The reported raise would double the company’s valuation from the $6.6 billion price it commanded during its Series B in December 2025, when it raised $330 million from CapitalG and Menlo Ventures. Lovable’s annual recurring revenue has grown from $100 million to $500 million over the past year, one of the fastest growth trajectories in European tech.

The company operates in the fast-growing vibe-coding category, alongside competitors like Replit and Bolt.new. Unlike traditional development platforms, Lovable allows non-technical users to generate functional applications through natural language prompts, dramatically lowering the barrier to software creation.

If completed, the round would bring Lovable’s total funding to over $850 million across four rounds in roughly 12 months, cementing its position as one of Europe’s most valuable private technology companies.
